The wedding was a 3-day affair in Tuscany. According to Vogue, celebrations began on September 24 with a civil ceremony at the historic town hall in Montalcino. Fashion played a major role, too. Cameron wore a custom Giorgio Armani look, described as a caped suit, while David wore a Giuliva Heritage suit.
The weekend continued at Castiglion del Bosco, an estate that pairs a medieval castle with cypress-lined vineyards in the Brunello di Montalcino countryside. Kate Upton and Justin Verlander famously said their vows at the same location in 2017.
Official behind-the-scenes photos later released through Haute Living captured even more details. The couple arrived in a vintage white Lancia convertible, and the images show the vows, the vineyard, and their toasts as newlyweds. The festivities also had an Italian flavor. MARTINI served as the weekend’s exclusive aperitivo and vermouth partner.
On the day of the ceremony, Just Jared reported that the 30-year-old actress and 27-year-old musician were spotted in white outfits in Montalcino. Photos and videos showed friends and family celebrating with them just after they seemingly said, “I do.”
The couple’s road to the altar unfolded publicly over the past year. They sparked engagement rumors in October when Cameron was photographed in Sydney, Australia, wearing a large diamond on her ring finger.
