Cameron Diaz Returns with Jabs at Trump and a Bold Acting Rule: “now Elon Musk is our president”

Cameron Diaz is back in the spotlight after taking an 11-year break from acting. Her new Netflix movie, ‘Back in Action,’ stars her alongside Jamie Foxx, and the two have been doing press interviews to promote the film. During a recent chat with ‘Complex,’ Diaz made a playful comment that surprised everyone, especially her co-star.

When the topic of online conspiracy theories came up, Foxx asked Diaz for her thoughts. She shared her ideas about aliens and mentioned a theory that humans might move to Mars in the future.

Then she added, “If you think about where we’re at currently in technology, we sit in front of a screen – we don’t speak to each other, we don’t have to talk – and we all know that we’re moving off the planet because now Elon Musk is our president.”

The unexpected comment left Foxx stunned, and the camera caught his wide-eyed reaction.

As we’ve mentioned Cameron Diaz stars with Jamie Foxx in the Netflix spy comedy, marking her first movie in 11 years. But does this mean she’s making a permanent return to acting?

“I don’t know how I view it. It’s hard to say. If I say it then it becomes this thing. I reserve the right to say no to doing a movie ever again, and I reserve the right to say yes if I decide to. I’m not defining anything. I’m just open to whatever makes sense for me and my family at any given moment.

If Diaz does decide to keep acting, she has one condition: “No more rom-coms, only mom-coms.”
