‘Invincible’ Gets Early Season 5 Renewal Before Season 4 Even Drops

Prime Video has officially confirmed that Invincible will return for Season 5, even before Season 4 has arrived. The news was shared by the streaming platform as part of its latest long-term schedule update.

According to Prime Video, the people behind the show are confident about where the story of Mark Grayson is headed, especially after Season 3 ended earlier this year.

Right now, there’s no exact release date for Season 4, except for the promise that it will be coming sometime in 2026. Since Season 4 doesn’t even have a set date, it’s not surprising that Season 5 doesn’t have one either.

Prime Video clearly wants to keep the popular animated superhero series going for a few more years. Along with the announcement of Season 5, fans also learned that actor Matthew Rhys has joined the cast for Season 4.

Rhys is known for his work in Watchmen and The Americans, but Prime Video hasn’t said which character he will be voicing in the upcoming episodes.

Season 3 of Invincible finished in March with another bloody fight. Throughout that season, Mark Grayson was exploring alternate realities and growing closer to Atom Eve. But the finale changed things when the dangerous Viltrumites arrived on Earth, with Conquest making his first appearance.

Voice recording for the next season is already done, but Prime Video hasn’t shared any updates about the story, full cast, or exact release date for Season 4. And news about Season 5 will likely take even longer to arrive.

While waiting for more updates, fans can look forward to the Invincible VS video game, which was announced last month. This 3v3 fighting game will let players control characters like Invincible, Atom Eve, Omni-Man, and Rex Splode. The game is set to release in 2026.

For now, fans can relax knowing that Invincible will be sticking around for a while, with two new seasons already on the way.
