‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’ Latest Trailer Unleashes Explosive Action with Chris Pratt & Taylor Kitsch

The wait is almost over for fans of The Terminal List. The brand-new trailer for The Terminal List: Dark Wolf has just dropped, and it’s packed with gunfire, explosions, and high-stakes action.

The prequel series dives deep into the story of Ben Edwards, showing his journey from Navy SEAL to CIA operative, and exploring the darker side of war and the heavy toll it takes on those who fight it.

Taylor Kitsch is back as Ben Edwards, a role he played in the original series. Chris Pratt also returns as James Reece, and Tom Hopper joins as Raife Hastings.

The series will stream on Amazon Prime Video starting August 27, 2025. The first three episodes will be released on premiere day, with the rest dropping weekly until September 24.

The story is based on characters from Jack Carr’s 2018 novel The Terminal List. This time, Carr co-created the series with David DiGilio, who also serves as the showrunner. Both Carr and DiGilio are executive producers, along with Kitsch, Pratt, Antoine Fuqua, Kat Samick, Max Adams, Jared Shaw, and Frederick E. O. Toye.

Amazon first announced in February 2023 that the prequel was in the works, focusing on Ben Edwards. Pratt and Jared Shaw were quickly confirmed to return, and by early 2024, Tom Hopper, Luke Hemsworth, Dar Salim, Robert Wisdom, Rona-Lee Shimon, and Shiraz Tzarfati had all joined the cast.

Filming started in March 2024, and now the trailer gives us a taste of what’s coming. There’s no shortage of intense firefights, covert missions, and tense confrontations. The series promises a raw, gritty look at espionage and special operations, showing the blurred lines between right and wrong when the stakes are life and death.

Taylor Kitsch told fans earlier that he was excited to dig deeper into Ben’s past, and Chris Pratt’s return as James Reece will surely please longtime viewers. With the trailer now out, it’s clear that The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is aiming to deliver a hard-hitting, adrenaline-fueled ride.
