Jobe Smith gains powerful mental abilities. The sheriff is afraid of him. He goes to Jobe’s house to confront him.
He enters a virtual reality simulation created by Jobe. In the simulation, he is killed. His mind is destroyed. He should not have gone alone to face someone with such powers.
The Girl on the Tracks in ‘A Quiet Place’ (2018)

In a world with creatures that hunt by sound, silence is survival. A family tries to live without making any noise. They have strict rules to stay safe.
The youngest child is given a toy rocket. The parents take the batteries out to be safe. But the child secretly takes them back. When the toy makes a noise, a creature immediately attacks and kills the child. This death shows how dangerous any sound can be.

The mayor refuses to close the beaches. He is worried about losing tourist money. This decision leads to more shark attacks and deaths. The mayor’s greed and refusal to listen to experts caused a lot of harm.
