Todd Stashwick’s MCU ‘Vision Quest’ Role Has Been Revealed
Exciting news for Marvel fans! The upcoming Disney+ series Vision Quest, a spin-off from WandaVision, is shaping up to be a must-watch.
According to a recent panel at Star Trek Las Vegas, showrunner Terry Matalas spilled some juicy details about the cast and their roles. Vision Quest, set to hit Disney+ in 2026 with eight episodes, is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Six and continues the story of White Vision, played by Paul Bettany.
The series brings back familiar faces and introduces new ones. Paul Bettany is back as Vision, the synthetic hero we all love. James Spader, Todd Stashwick, Ruaridh Mollica, T’Nia Miller, Emily Hampshire, and Orla Brady also previously joined the cast. At the Star Trek Las Vegas panel, Matalas revealed that Todd Stashwick will play Paladin, a lesser-known Marvel Comics character.
In the comics, Paladin is a tough mercenary with superhuman strength, agility, and stamina, often working for the highest bidder but occasionally showing a heroic side. Meanwhile, Orla Brady, known for her role as Laris in Star Trek: Picard, will take on the role of F.R.I.D.A.Y., the AI that Tony Stark used in his Iron Man suit after Jarvis transformed into Vision. “It’s been a delight working with Marvel on the show, a wonderfully collaborative experience,” Matalas shared during the panel.
Vision Quest started filming in March 2025 at Pinewood Studios in London and wrapped up by late July. Terry Matalas, who’s also directing some episodes, is leading the project, with Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, and Vincenzo Natali directing others. The series was first teased in October 2022 as a WandaVision spin-off, with Jac Schaeffer initially involved as head writer.
By May 2024, Matalas took over to rework the show, keeping it in line with the MCU’s big-screen adventures.Get ready for Vision Quest to bring more heart, action, and surprises to the MCU when it lands on Disney+ in 2026!
