New York Comic Con is back! The 2025 edition of this iconic event is set to take place at the Javits Center from October 9–12, and it promises to be bigger and more exciting than ever. Attendees can expect a mix of celebrity appearances, behind-the-scenes insights, interactive experiences, and sneak peeks at upcoming releases across various media. From blockbuster panels to intimate Q&A sessions with creators, there’s something for every kind of comic book enthusiast.

Organizers have just unveiled the full lineup of panels, special programming, and exclusive events, giving fans a chance to dive deep into the worlds of comics, movies, TV, gaming, and pop culture.

1. Marvel Animation/Marvel Television

On Saturday, October 11th at 1:30 PM, the Empire Stage will host a special Marvel panel. Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes look at Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ shows, featuring insights and discussions with guests from Marvel Television and Marvel Animation.

2. Invincible Panel

On Friday, October 9th at 5:30 PM, the Empire Stage will host a special panel for Invincible. The event features Emmy-Award winner Steven Yeun, Gillian Jacobs, co-creator and co-showrunner Robert Kirkman, and members of the voice cast. Attendees can expect exclusive conversations, behind-the-scenes insights, and teases for Season Four, including updates on key characters like Eve, Omni-Man, and William. 3. The Running Man Panel

On Friday, October 10th at 11:00 AM, the Empire Stage will host a panel for Paramount Pictures’ upcoming film, The Running Man. Writer and director Edgar Wright will join stars Glen Powell and Lee Pace to give fans an exclusive look at this fall’s action-packed theatrical event. 4. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Cast Reunion

5. Sony Pictures’ upcoming film slate panel

The panel will showcase the company’s upcoming horror projects for 2025 and provide an exclusive sneak peek at what’s planned for 2026. 7. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Panel

On Thursday, October 9th at 12:00 PM, the Empire Stage will host a panel for the new HBO series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Co-creators George R.R. Martin and Ira Parker, along with stars Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell, will take attendees on a journey into Westeros, set a century before Game of Thrones, and explore the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire, Egg.

8. Bat-Fam Panel

On Saturday, October 11th at 12:30 PM in Room 405, Warner Bros. Animation and Prime Video will host a sneak peek screening and Q&A for the upcoming animated series BAT-FAM. Executive producer and showrunner Mike Roth, along with surprise cast members, will provide an in-depth look at the series, which follows Batman, Alfred, and young Damian Wayne as Little Batman, along with new members of Wayne Manor, navigating life as a superhero family. Attendees will also get an exclusive first look at an episode of the show.

9. It: Welcome to Derry Panel

On Saturday, October 11th at 11:00 AM on the Empire Stage, HBO will host a panel for its upcoming series IT: WELCOME TO DERRY. Cast members and creators, including director Andy Muschietti, executive producer Barbara Muschietti, co-showrunners Jason Fuchs and Brad Caleb Kane, as well as actors Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Kimberly Guerrero, and Stephen Rider, will present never-before-seen clips and discuss the making of the series.

10. The Anne Rice Immortal Universe

On Friday, October 10th at 6:45 PM on the Main Stage, AMC and AMC+ will host a panel featuring the casts and executive producers from two series in the Anne Rice Immortal Universe. The panel will spotlight the upcoming series Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order, which explores the secretive society that monitors witches, vampires, and other supernatural beings, ahead of its October 26 premiere, as well as the new rock-and-roll season of Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat, following Lestat and his band on tour, set to return in 2026.

11. DC K.O.: What’s Next

On Saturday, October 11th at 12:15 PM in Room 409, top DC storytellers will host a panel exploring what’s next for DC’s All In publishing initiative. The discussion will cover upcoming projects including DC K.O., Knightfight, DC’s Absolute comic books, and more, and will be moderated by DC Group Editors Paul Kaminski and Rob Levin.

12. MERCY: Exclusive First Look with Chris Pratt, Kali Reis & Timur Bekmambetov

On Thursday, October 9th at 2:30 PM on the Empire Stage, Chris Pratt, Kali Reis, and director Timur Bekmambetov will present an exclusive first look at the upcoming sci-fi crime thriller Mercy. The panel will explore the film’s high-stakes story, in which an LAPD detective must prove his innocence to an advanced A.I. judge within 90 minutes, and offer insights from the cast and director on bringing the intense, near-future tale to life.

13. X-Men: Days of Future Past Reunion (James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult & Elliot Page)

On Sunday, October 12th at 12:00 PM on the Empire Stage, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, and Elliot Page will reunite for a special X-Men panel celebrating their iconic roles in the film franchise. The panel will feature behind-the-scenes stories, character insights, and reflections on bringing Marvel’s mutants to life, with a focus on their experiences in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

14. Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake Season 2 Sneak Peek Panel

On Sunday, October 12th at 12:45 PM on the Main Stage, join executive producer and showrunner Adam Muto along with voice cast members Madeleine Martin, Roz Ryan, and Ashly Burch for an exclusive sneak peek at Season 2 of “Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake.” Fans will get a first look at the multiversal adventures awaiting in the HBO Max Original series from Cartoon Network Studios.

15. FX’s “The Beauty” Sneak-Peek and Q&A

On Saturday, October 11th at 6:15 PM on the Main Stage, FX presents a sneak peek and Q&A for “The Beauty,” a new international thriller from Ryan Murphy. The panel features stars Evan Peters, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, Rebecca Hall, and Ashton Kutcher, who will discuss filming the sci-fi action series across New York, Paris, Venice, and Rome. Based on the comic books by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley, the show follows a sexually transmitted virus that makes those affected more beautiful, but with deadly consequences. “The Beauty” will premiere on Hulu in early 2026.

16. Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing

On Saturday, October 11th at 3:30 PM in Room 405, Marvel Comics hosts its “Next Big Thing” panel, the biggest comics-focused event of the weekend. Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski, VP and Executive Editor Nick Lowe, Ultimate Editor Wil Moss, writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson, and other creators will reveal the future of the Marvel Universe. Attendees will get sneak peeks at upcoming stories, including the climactic Ultimate Endgame, and have a chance to receive an exclusive giveaway comic book at the end of the discussion.

17. Transformers & G.I. Joe: A New Era for The Energon Universe

The “Transformers & G.I. Joe: A New Era for The Energon Universe” panel will explore the latest developments in the interconnected worlds of Transformers, G.I. Joe, and Void Rivals. Attendees will hear from creators Robert Kirkman, Joshua Williamson, Dan Mora, Tom Reilly, Jorge Corona, Conor Hughes, and Skybound Executive Editor Ben Abernathy as they share new revelations about the Energon Universe, including a special surprise. The panel provides fans with an in-depth look at the exciting changes shaping this expanded comic universe.

18. TMNT: What’s Next for the Heroes in a Half Shell?

The “TMNT: What’s Next for the Heroes in a Half Shell?” panel will dive into IDW’s popular and critically acclaimed Ninja Turtles comics. Fans will get an inside look at the new run by Gene Luen Yang and Freddie Williams II, as well as updates on the fan-favorite event Battle Nexus. Packed with surprises and reveals, this panel promises plenty of reasons for fans to shout “cowabunga!” It takes place on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM in Javits Center, Room 1C03.
