Apple TV+ has released a second short teaser for Pluribus, the new sci-fi drama series from Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad.

The 30-second teaser gives very little away but keeps fans curious about what the show will really be about. It even includes a phone number (202-808-3981) that viewers can call to get more involved, according to a social media post from August 19, 2025.

The series title, Pluribus, comes from a Latin word meaning “many” or “much,” familiar to many from the U.S. motto “E pluribus unum.” The concept is still mysterious, but Apple TV+ describes it with one line: “The most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness.”

Rhea Seehorn, known for her role in Gilligan’s Better Call Saul, stars as Carol. Other cast members include Carlos Manuel Vesga, Karolina Wydra, Miriam Shor, and Samba Schutte. Sources say the show is expected to have a nine-episode first season, with two episodes premiering on November 7, 2025. Apple TV+ has already ordered two seasons.

The series is set in Albuquerque, but the world quickly shifts into a strange and unfamiliar place, according to the producers. Early impressions suggest it may feel similar in style to Apple TV+’s Severance rather than the more traditional sci-fi series like Foundation.

About the show, Gilligan has remained tight-lipped, but the teasers so far are generating a lot of curiosity. “Hello, Carol. We’ll put things right…” is the line featured in the latest teaser, hinting at the unusual story to come.

This new series marks another collaboration between Gilligan and Seehorn, promising a mix of his signature storytelling and mind-bending sci-fi elements. Apple TV+ and various sources confirm the release details and cast information.
