Jared Padalecki Reveals His Exact Episode in ‘The Boys’ Season 5

Jared Padalecki is officially joining the world of The Boys in its fifth and final season, and now fans finally know when to expect his debut.

During a recent panel at Fan Expo Boston, the Supernatural star answered a fan question about his role in the series and gave away some new details.

Padalecki confirmed that his appearance won’t happen right away, telling the crowd, “It’s Episode 5 of Season 5. I think they’re putting out the first four episodes and then a little bit of time and then the final four episodes.”

He even gave a playful warning to younger fans, adding, “And for those who are not yet 18, do not watch it.”

While Padalecki kept most details secret, he did tease a connection to Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy, the character Ackles first played back in season three. “I’ll say this much — my character is very excited to meet Soldier Boy,” he revealed.

That comment alone has fans speculating that their on-screen chemistry could mirror the big-brother-little-brother dynamic the two shared during their Supernatural years.

This final season will bring together multiple familiar faces from Eric Kripke’s hit CW series. Alongside Padalecki and Ackles, Misha Collins will also appear in a mystery role. Kripke has already confirmed that the three actors will share screen time together, making it a dream reunion for longtime Supernatural fans.

The Boys season five will also star Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, among others. Daveed Diggs has also been announced as a new addition.

The final season is expected to drop in two parts, with the first four episodes coming first, followed later by the last four.

No release date has been confirmed yet, but with the show wrapping up, Kripke seems determined to deliver a memorable finale filled with shocking moments and special appearances.
