The Marvel Cinematic Universe often invents fresh faces to fit its stories, expand organizations, and connect plotlines across films and shows. These characters weren’t adapted from existing Marvel Comics; they were created for the screen and then woven into the larger continuity the MCU has built.

Below you’ll find who they are, where they show up, and what they actually do in the narrative. Each entry focuses on concrete details—roles, actions, affiliations, and outcomes—so you can see exactly how these originals shape events from ‘Loki’ and ‘WandaVision’ to ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ and ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’.

Miss Minutes

Marvel Studios

Miss Minutes is the animated artificial intelligence that greets new arrivals at the Time Variance Authority in ‘Loki’. She runs onboarding briefings, controls access to TVA systems, and can lock down corridors and doors, giving her real authority inside the organization’s infrastructure.

Later, she operates off the official chain of command and executes failsafes tied to He Who Remains. She coordinates with Ravonna Renslayer, appears as large-scale holograms, and manipulates terminal permissions, directly affecting efforts to stabilize or prune branching timelines.

Donny Blaze

Marvel Studios

Donny Blaze appears in ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’ as a stage magician who briefly trained at Kamar-Taj before being expelled. He keeps a sling ring and uses it during performances at the Mystic Castle, opening portals that transport audience volunteers to other dimensions and back. His acts draw public attention precisely because they rely on genuine mystic techniques rather than sleight of hand, which prompts Wong to seek legal action to stop the misuse of sanctioned sorcery.

When a portal stunt unleashes hostile creatures during a show, Blaze’s recklessness escalates the situation into a public threat. Wong and Jennifer Walters intervene to contain the fallout, after which Blaze agrees to cease using the sling ring in his performances. The incident documents how unsupervised access to Kamar-Taj training and artifacts creates jurisdictional problems that require both legal remedies and direct intervention to prevent further breaches.

Ouroboros (OB)

Marvel Studios

Ouroboros—known as OB—maintains Repairs and Advancements in ‘Loki’. He wrote the TVA handbook, understands the system’s deepest technical layers, and designs devices like the temporal aura extractor and throughput multiplier.

He works from a basement-level workshop with minimal staff access, yet he becomes central to fixing temporal meltdown scenarios. OB coordinates cross-department efforts, guides personnel through dangerous procedures, and implements safeguards to keep the TVA operational when timelines destabilize.

Tyler Hayward

Marvel Studios

Tyler Hayward acts as S.W.O.R.D.’s director in ‘WandaVision’. He controls custody of Vision’s body, authorizes Project Cataract to re-activate the synthezoid, and directs a military-style response to the Westview anomaly.

He deploys the reconstituted White Vision, orders lethal force inside the Hex, and attempts to eliminate assets considered threats. After Westview’s barrier drops, he is arrested by federal authorities for unlawful actions undertaken during the incident.

Ralph Bohner

Marvel Studios

Ralph Bohner appears in ‘WandaVision’ as the Westview resident forced into a false identity by enchanted accessories. He is used to impersonate Wanda’s brother during the sitcom reality, which gives him access to the Maximoff household and S.W.O.R.D. operations around the Hex.

His true identification is uncovered when the control object is removed. The reveal ends his role in the deception, documents his status as a manipulated civilian, and clarifies how an outsider gained movement and abilities within Westview.

Antonia Dreykov

Marvel Studios

Antonia Dreykov is introduced in ‘Black Widow’ as the operative inside the Taskmaster armor. Injured during an assassination attempt years earlier, she survives with implants that enable combat-protocol mimicry and leave her vulnerable to external control.

She executes missions for the Red Room, analyzes opponents’ fighting styles in real time, and counters techniques used by Avengers and Widows alike. During the fall of the Red Room, she is freed from chemical control, and her status after extraction is left open for follow-up operations.

Love

Marvel Studios

Love appears in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ as the resurrected child of Gorr the God Butcher. Brought back by Eternity, she is entrusted to Thor once Gorr dies.

Afterward, she lives with Thor and wields Stormbreaker on missions to protect civilians. On-screen depictions show her channeling energy in combat and operating alongside Thor as they respond to distress calls across different worlds.

Layla El-Faouly

Marvel Studios

Layla El-Faouly is an Egyptian archaeologist and adventurer in ‘Moon Knight’. She works with Marc Spector on field digs and artifact retrieval and later pursues leads tied to Ammit’s tomb.

She becomes the temporary avatar of Taweret and assumes the mantle associated with the Scarlet Scarab. Layla fights to stop Harrow’s plan in Cairo, uses enchanted armor and blades granted through her pact, and coordinates with Marc and Steven to contain the threat.

Gravik

Marvel Studios

Gravik leads the rebel Skrulls in ‘Secret Invasion’. He orchestrates covert attacks, infiltrates security structures, and establishes New Skrullos as a base of operations while seeking leverage over world powers.

He acquires biomaterial known as the Harvest to engineer Super-Skrull enhancements. The resulting abilities give him multi-power profiles in combat, and his confrontation with G’iah concludes the immediate insurgency he initiated.

Sonya Falsworth

Marvel Studios

Sonya Falsworth is a senior British intelligence officer in ‘Secret Invasion’. She runs off-book interrogations, secures facilities tied to suspected Skrull activity, and manages asset extractions when situations escalate.

She later formalizes an understanding with G’iah, offering resources in exchange for actionable intelligence on remaining infiltrators. This arrangement positions the UK to respond quickly to shape-shifter threats and sets up continued cooperation beyond the crisis.

Karun

Marvel Studios

Karun is Kingo’s longtime valet in ‘Eternals’. He accompanies Kingo across countries, documents the Eternals’ movements with multiple cameras, and handles logistics such as transport, accommodations, and access.

During the Deviant resurgence, Karun remains embedded with the group and records encounters as events unfold. He manages interactions with civilians and production crews, bridges the Eternals’ public persona with their covert activities, and maintains operational support while the team reunites.

Veb

Marvel Studios

Veb is a gelatinous resident of the Quantum Realm in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’. He provides an ooze that lets surface-dwellers understand local speech and communicates through absorption and regeneration.

He joins the Freedom Fighters during the uprising against Kang’s forces, moves with assault teams through occupied zones, and survives engagements that demonstrate his unusual physiology. His contributions include relaying intel and assisting evacuations as the citadel comes under attack.

Quaz

Marvel Studios

Quaz is a telepath allied with the Freedom Fighters in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’. He reads thoughts to verify intentions, interrogates captured soldiers, and detects ambushes during raids.

He supports operations targeting Kang’s infrastructure, helps coordinate safe routes through hostile territory, and contributes to the final push that disrupts the regime’s control. His abilities also aid post-battle organization by identifying collaborators and securing settlements.

Luis

Marvel Studios

Luis is Scott Lang’s friend and partner in ‘Ant-Man’. He recruits the crew for the Pym heist, provides transportation, and later co-founds X-Con Security Consultants, which becomes a legitimate business front.

In ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’, he is targeted for intel about the shrunken lab and ends up relaying key information after being dosed with a so-called truth serum. He assists with diversions during pursuits through San Francisco and helps safeguard the lab during the climactic exchange.

Katy Chen

Marvel Studios

Katy Chen is Shang-Chi’s close friend and co-worker in ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’. She travels with him to Macau, encounters the Golden Daggers Club, and becomes involved in the conflict tied to the Ten Rings organization.

In Ta Lo, she trains in archery and participates in the defense against the Dweller-in-Darkness. She later accompanies Shang-Chi when Wong summons them, entering circles that study the Ten Rings’ energy signature and signal, and remains connected to ongoing investigations.
