Pixar is introducing two new characters in its upcoming film Hoppers, and fans just got their first look. During Disney’s Destination D23 event, the studio revealed King George, voiced by Bobby Moynihan, and Mayor Jerry, voiced by Jon Hamm.

Hoppers is a sci-fi comedy adventure written and directed by Daniel Chong, the creator of We Bare Bears. The movie follows Mabel, a 19-year-old animal lover who ends up having her mind placed inside a robotic beaver.

With her new body, she teams up with animals to fight back against a company that wants to destroy their forest home. Piper Curda voices Mabel, while Moynihan and Hamm bring life to King George, a beaver monarch, and Mayor Jerry, a greedy town leader.

The cast also includes Demetri Martin as a flock of birds and Melissa Villaseñor as Ellen, a bear who joins the fight. Pixar began developing the project in late 2020, and the film was officially announced as Hoppers in August 2024.

The film is set to arrive in theaters on March 6, 2026. With a mix of humor, sci-fi, and heartfelt moments, Pixar is aiming to bring something original and unexpected to audiences.
