Avengers: Doomsday is shaping up to be one of the biggest Marvel movies in the next few years. Fans are excited because the film will bring together familiar MCU heroes and characters from Fox’s X-Men universe.

During a five-hour live stream, Marvel Studios revealed 27 confirmed characters, but even Kevin Feige admitted that this isn’t the complete list. More heroes and villains are expected to be announced as the film’s release approaches.

Recently, Teyonah Parris, who plays Monica Rambeau in WandaVision and The Marvels, hinted that she might be returning to the MCU.

She shared a photo of the wig her character wears in the films, sparking speculation online. While it could be a simple throwback, it seems likely that Monica could play a role in Avengers: Doomsday, especially given her story in The Marvels and her importance to future MCU plotlines.

Monica’s character had a unique storyline in The Marvels. She ended up trapped in a different reality, which connects directly to the multiverse and sets the stage for future stories involving the Young Avengers.

Although The Marvels did not perform well at the box office, becoming the lowest-grossing MCU film domestically, it laid important groundwork for upcoming films. The post-credits scene also showcased Kelsey Grammer’s Beast and he was confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, adding further evidence that Monica might be involved.

Fans are already speculating about how Monica’s powers and story will fit into such a large ensemble.
