Simu Liu Talks About Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’

Marvel is gearing up for its biggest movie yet with Avengers: Doomsday. The film will bring together a massive lineup of heroes and villains, and the excitement around it keeps growing.

“Every day is like a dream. You can go to work and work with people you admire. Some of them are actors I saw when I was a kid, even before I wanted to be an actor. I really can’t believe I’m working with these people.”

Liu also shared that while filming has been exciting, it hasn’t been without nerves. “As for emotions, there are very good feelings and excitement, and there are also mixed fears and anxiety. Because you are human. Being with great people can be anxious. But everyone is really nice, and I don’t feel like it’s ‘work’ every day.”

When asked about Robert Downey Jr., Liu praised him as both an actor and a person. “He is an integral part of Marvel’s success and has been in a number of films for years. He is truly kind, he is an inspiring man who treats me without distinction.”

Liu also teased that fans are in for something special when Downey Jr. takes on Doctor Doom. “Because he has played so many different roles, I think everyone will be blown away by his performance.”

With Liu’s comments, it’s clear that Downey Jr.’s new role is shaping up to be one of the highlights of Avengers: Doomsday. His return, though in a very different part, is set to be a big moment for Marvel fans everywhere.
