Anne Hathaway stepped in to calm things down on the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2 in New York City, showing once again why fans admire her poise and professionalism.

The 41-year-old actress was filming a scene when she noticed a loud argument among paparazzi near the set. According to a video shared by People on Instagram, Hathaway addressed the group directly, keeping her tone steady and polite.

“You guys have got to relax. You guys have got to relax. There are children on set today. Does everyone know that there are children on set? So everyone is going to relax, and we’re going to have a very nice day because we have children here. Thank you,” she said before turning back to continue filming with a smile.

Fans quickly praised her response online. One user wrote, “Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldi, Princess of Genovia,” referencing her beloved role in The Princess Diaries.

Another commented, “I love Anne!! When they say use your inside voice, this is what they mean!” while a third noted, “That’s not a confrontation, that’s being a human and reminding others that they’re also human.”

This is not the first time Hathaway has made headlines during production. Earlier this month, she was seen taking a small tumble while shooting a staircase scene. Despite the stumble, she held onto the bagel she was carrying and reassured those nearby with a cheerful “I’m fine!” before quickly returning to her role.

Clips of the incident circulated online and were met with amusement and admiration from fans for her composure.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is an upcoming comedy-drama directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna. It continues the story from the 2006 original and is based on the novel Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns by Lauren Weisberger.

The film features Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Tracie Thoms, and Tibor Feldman reprising their roles, with new cast members joining to expand the story.

The movie is set to be released in the United States and Canada on May 1, 2026. Fans are eagerly anticipating the sequel and have expressed excitement over Hathaway’s return as Andrea Sachs.

Her recent moments on set, from handling paparazzi to gracefully recovering from a fall, only reinforce her reputation as both a professional and a relatable figure in Hollywood.
