Chloë Grace Moretz and Kate Harrison Say ‘I Do’ This Labor Day
Chloë Grace Moretz and Kate Harrison are officially married! The actress, 28, and the model, 34, tied the knot over Labor Day weekend, Vogue confirmed.
The couple, who have kept their relationship mostly private, celebrated with a unique and personal wedding that reflected both of their interests.
Ahead of the big day, Moretz said, “A big part of the wedding [is about] sharing things that Kate and I love with everyone that’s going to be there. So there’s fishing, horseback riding and poker. Kate made a custom poker mat herself, so we’re going to kind of be leaning into it. Our second day is going to be line dancing and everything.”
Both brides wore wedding dresses and after-party outfits designed by Louis Vuitton. True to tradition, they didn’t see each other’s looks before the ceremony, even though they were both in Paris for fittings.
For her after-party look, Moretz chose a custom “ice cream” white jacket and trousers with a cowboy hat, while her “something blue” was a light blue wedding dress and veil paired with long matching gloves. “It just feels like me,” she said.
“I never really envisioned a wedding dress in my mind growing up, so when we started talking about what that would look like, I knew I would do something non-traditional, and not wear white, and kind of have it feel different, and I think it really does.”
Harrison went with a traditional white wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline, a birdcage veil in the front, and a cathedral-length veil in the back. For the after-party, she wore a bodice and trousers with a sheer overlay and thin metallic spaghetti straps, accented by covered buttons down the front. “The thing I’m the most excited for — other than being married — is that first look moment,” Harrison said before the wedding. “Having no idea of what we look like in our dresses, it’s going to be so special. This dress just kind of makes you feel ready. This design is perfect. I’m ready!”
Moretz shared that what she was most excited about was “just being together. We’ve been together for almost seven years and making this promise to each other in a new way, and exchanging these vows. I think it’s important to just stay every day choosing each other.”
The couple first sparked engagement rumors in April 2024 when they were spotted with rings on their left hands during a trip to Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Moretz also shared photos over the years showing the couple with rings on their left ring fingers, including during Paris Fashion Week and in an Instagram post on New Year’s Day 2025.
While their relationship has been mostly private, Moretz has been open about enjoying their time together. In a 2022 interview with iNews, she said, “I like to keep my private life private. I’m in a long-term relationship. And I really enjoy that.”
Now, after years together, the couple has made it official, celebrating their love in a wedding full of personal touches, fun activities, and heartfelt vows.
