Fans of The Walking Dead and other AMC favorites will not have to worry about losing their shows on Netflix anytime soon.

According to The Streamable, Netflix and AMC have decided to extend their licensing deal, keeping a wide range of AMC series available on the streaming platform.

The partnership first began last summer and has already proven successful. Under the agreement, Netflix gained the rights to stream AMC shows such as The Walking Dead: Dead City and Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches.

Both titles performed well, pulling in millions of viewers once they arrived on Netflix. The model has been simple but effective: AMC and AMC+ get the first run of episodes, and Netflix brings the seasons to a much bigger audience shortly after.

The extended deal means viewers can count on seeing new AMC seasons arrive on Netflix not long after they finish airing. This will be a big help for fans who do not subscribe to AMC+ or prefer binge-watching an entire season in one go rather than waiting week by week.

For example, Season 2 of Interview With the Vampire is already set to drop on Netflix on September 30. Later this fall, the newest seasons of Dark Winds, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, The Walking Dead: Dead City, and Mayfair Witches will also arrive on the platform.

AMC is also preparing to expand its growing universe of Anne Rice adaptations. Talamasca: The Secret Order premieres on AMC and AMC+ this October, and while no Netflix release date has been given yet, it has been confirmed for 2026.

Other AMC shows are also coming soon to Netflix, including Orphan Black, Orphan Black: Echoes, Parish, This is Going to Hurt, NOS4A2, and Soulmates. Official release dates for these titles will be shared later.

Right now, Netflix’s AMC Collection includes 12 shows. Viewers can stream Orphan Black, A Discovery of Witches, Interview with the Vampire, The Walking Dead, Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, Breaking Bad, Fear the Walking Dead, Pantheon, Better Call Saul, Dark Winds, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, and The Walking Dead: Dead City.

With the deal renewed, it is still unclear whether older AMC titles will be added, or if the agreement will only cover ongoing series and new projects.

What is clear is that AMC and Netflix both benefit from this partnership. AMC gets wider exposure for its shows, while Netflix strengthens its lineup with established fan favorites. For viewers, it simply means more content to stream and more ways to keep up with the expanding universes of The Walking Dead and Anne Rice’s supernatural stories.

The extended deal looks like a win for everyone involved, and with so many shows lined up for release, Netflix subscribers have a lot to look forward to in the months ahead.
