Jeremy Allen White Brings Bruce Springsteen to Life in a New Trailer for Upcoming Biopic
A new biopic, Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, brings the story of Bruce Springsteen’s iconic 1982 album Nebraska to the big screen.
Directed and written by Scott Cooper and based on Warren Zanes’ 2023 book Deliver Me from Nowhere, the film stars Jeremy Allen White as Springsteen. The cast also includes Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham, Odessa Young, Gaby Hoffmann, Marc Maron, and David Krumholtz.
The movie focuses on a crucial moment in Springsteen’s early career, showing the recording of Nebraska on a simple 4-track recorder in his New Jersey bedroom. It explores his rise to fame, personal struggles, and the blue-collar stories that inspired the album.
The film highlights the pressure of success and the haunting memories of Springsteen’s past, while showing his dedication to capturing the lives of everyday people through music.
Jeremy Allen White takes on the role of Springsteen, with Matthew Anthony Pellicano portraying a younger version of the musician. Jeremy Strong plays Jon Landau, Springsteen’s manager and producer, while Paul Walter Hauser appears as Mike Batlan, the album’s recording engineer.
Stephen Graham portrays Springsteen’s father Douglas, and Odessa Young plays Faye Romano, his love interest. The ensemble also features Marc Maron, Gaby Hoffmann, and David Krumholtz in key supporting roles.
