‘Now You See Me: Now You Don’t’ Trailer Teases the Return of the Master Heist Magicians
Lionsgate has finally dropped the official trailer for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, the third film in the hit heist-meets-magic series.
The movie is set to arrive in theaters on November 14, bringing back the master illusionists known as the Four Horsemen along with some new faces.
The studio shared the official synopsis, teasing what fans can expect this time around: “The Four Horsemen return along with a new generation of illusionists performing mind-melding twists, turns, surprises, and magic unlike anything ever captured on film.”

The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer with a script from Seth Grahame-Smith, Michael Lesslie, and the writing team of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, based on a story by Eric Warren Singer. Producers Bobby Cohen and Alex Kurtzman are behind the project.
Returning cast members include Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, and Morgan Freeman. Isla Fisher also makes her comeback after missing the second movie.
They’ll be joined by Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt, and Rosamund Pike. Michael Caine does not appear in the trailer and Mark Ruffalo is nowhere to be seen in the promotional material, though Ruffalo is confirmed to return.
The story brings the Horsemen back together for another big heist, this time recruiting three new illusionists to help pull off the theft of the world’s largest queen diamond from a powerful crime family. Pike plays Veronika Vanderberg, who leads the syndicate standing in their way.
Production on the movie started in July 2024 in Budapest before moving on to Belgium and later Abu Dhabi, with scenes shot at places like the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Ferrari World. Filming wrapped that November. Cinematographer George Richmond handled the visuals, while Brian Tyler, who scored the first two films, is returning to create the music once again.
Development on a third Now You See Me movie had been in the works since 2015. Originally, Jon M. Chu, who directed the second film, was attached to direct, but Ruben Fleischer eventually took over in 2022. The title Now You See Me: Now You Don’t had been pitched years ago for the second film but wasn’t used until now.
Fans of the series have even more to look forward to, as Lionsgate confirmed during CinemaCon in April that a fourth movie is already in development with Fleischer set to return.
