‘One Piece’ Season 2 Reveals Iconic New Location in First Poster and Images
Netflix’s live-action One Piece is back for a second season, and fans are getting their first glimpse at one of the series’ most famous locations.
New images and artwork reveal Loguetown, the pirate port known as “the town of the beginning and the end,” which will play a major role as Luffy and the Straw Hats prepare to enter the Grand Line.
The second season began filming in June 2024 and is set to premiere in 2026. According to the show’s synopsis, the Straw Hats will face bizarre islands, dangerous enemies, and unexpected adventures as they search for the world’s greatest treasure. Loguetown serves as a key stop on their journey, acting as both a farewell to their past and the start of new challenges.

Joe Tracz, co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer, talked about the importance of the location. “Loguetown is known as ‘the town of the beginning and the end’, so it’s the perfect place to kick off a new season. It’s a city packed with history, fun, and surprises — some that fans may guess, and a few you won’t see coming,” he said in a statement to IGN.
He added, “As the last stop before the Grand Line, Loguetown is both a farewell to the past and the start of a new adventure for our Straw Hats. Their world is about to get bigger, the stakes higher, and the villains even more formidable. And it all begins here, setting the stage for the unforgettable journey ahead!”
Iñaki Godoy, who returns as Monkey D. Luffy, shared his excitement about the new season. “In the time between Season 1 and Season 2, the crew, cast, and I were able to connect more deeply with each other, with the world of One Piece, and with what the show asks of us,” he said.
“More than anything, I’m just excited for audiences to see something we all feel so proud of. And yes, you can definitely look forward to Luffy eating even more this season!”
Season 2 has also expanded the cast, introducing characters like Mr. 3, Smoker, Miss Wednesday, and Crocus, alongside returning favorites. The new images give fans a sense of how the live-action series is bringing the vibrant world of One Piece to life, showing the mix of history, adventure, and danger that fans expect from Loguetown.
