One Piece star Iñaki Godoy recently shared his favorite arcs from the series, sparking a lively debate among fans. In an interview with Teen Vogue, the actor who plays Luffy in the live-action adaptation walked through several major story arcs, explaining his choices.

When asked to pick between Arlong Park and Romance Dawn, Godoy went with Arlong Park, saying, “I mean, I think it’s going to be Arlong Park, just because, it’s the climax you know.”

Next, he had to choose between Drum Island and Water 7. Godoy avoided giving away spoilers for the live-action show but ultimately praised Water 7, calling it “some Peak entertainment. You know what’s going on there. There’s a pretty dramatic moment. So Water 7.”

For the comparison between Alabasta and Marineford, he selected Alabasta, noting its importance in the story: “Alabasta, just like, takes the stakes so much higher. I think I will go on Alabasta on this one. Just because it set the stage for everything to come.”

When it came to Enies Lobby versus Sabaody Archipelago, Godoy made a quick choice: “Enies Lobby, come on guys.” He later picked Impel Down, teasing some upcoming alliances in the live-action series. His final contenders included Dressrosa, Long Ring Long Land, and Skypiea, eventually narrowing it down to Enies Lobby and Impel Down.

Godoy chose Enies Lobby as his ultimate favorite, encouraging viewers who haven’t seen the series or read the manga to catch up with the live-action show: “Enies Lobby, I guess you’re wondering what Enies Lobby is if you haven’t watched seen the anime or read the manga, well, if you watch One Piece live-action season 2 on Netflix you can start, you know, getting there. So I suggest that.”
