‘After Midnight’ (2020)

Leaving Tuesday, September 30, 2025. This indie hybrid follows Hank, whose longtime partner Abby vanishes without explanation, leaving behind a note—and, nightly, something clawing at his front door. The film blends romance and creature-feature tension, with Jeremy Gardner starring as Hank and Brea Grant as Abby; supporting roles include Henry Zebrowski and Justin Benson. It premiered under the title ‘Something Else’ before release as ‘After Midnight.’
Written by Jeremy Gardner and co-directed by Gardner and Christian Stella, the feature runs a lean 83 minutes and was produced by Rustic Films and Kavya Films. The story plays as a grief-and-relationships character piece with a literal monster thread, centering on Hank’s attempts to confront what stalks him each night as he reexamines the relationship that defined his last decade.
‘Charlotte’ (2021)

Leaving Tuesday, September 30, 2025. This animated biographical drama tells the life story of German-Jewish painter Charlotte Salomon, whose monumental autobiographical work ‘Life? or Theatre?’ chronicles her experiences before her deportation during World War II. The English-language voice cast is led by Keira Knightley, with Brenda Blethyn, Jim Broadbent, Sam Claflin, Eddie Marsan, Sophie Okonedo, Mark Strong and others voicing major roles.
Directed by Éric Warin and Tahir Rana from a story by Erik Rutherford and a screenplay by Rutherford and David Bezmozgis, the film is a Canada–Belgium–France co-production. It features music by Michelino Bisceglia and editing by Roderick Deogrades and Sam Patterson; distributors include Elevation Pictures (Canada), Nour Films (France) and The Searchers (Belgium).
‘The Wheel’ (2021)

Leaving Tuesday, September 30, 2025. In this intimate relationship drama, Albee and Walker—young spouses on the brink of divorce—head to a remote mountain rental to work through exercises meant to salvage their marriage, while rental hosts Ben and Carly get pulled into their struggle. The cast features Amber Midthunder as Albee, Taylor Gray as Walker, Bethany Anne Lind as Carly and Nelson Lee as Ben.
Directed by Steve Pink and written by Trent Atkinson, the 83-minute feature premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2021 before a subsequent U.S. release. Credits also include cinematography by Bella Gonzales and editing by Neal Wynne, with production by Hurley/Pickle Productions and Eastern Blocc.
‘The Forgiven’ (2022)

Leaving Sunday, October 5, 2025. Ralph Fiennes stars as David, Jessica Chastain as Jo, with Matt Smith, Caleb Landry Jones and others in supporting roles.
Written and directed by John Michael McDonagh, the film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2021 and later opened theatrically in 2022. It examines themes of privilege, responsibility and remorse; critical coverage highlights its satirical edge and performances, including Fiennes’ turn as a man forced to confront consequences beyond his insulated world.
‘A.C.O.R.N.S.: Operation Crackdown’ (2015)

Leaving Sunday, October 5, 2025. Also released as ‘Get Squirrely,’ this animated caper centers on a squirrel who organizes a heist to reclaim a stash of nuts from an industrial food company. Running approximately 82 minutes, it plays as a family-friendly heist comedy with talking-animal hijinks and a plan to outsmart corporate bad guys.
