Disney+ Unveils First Trailer for Fall’s Disney Villains-Themed Anime
Disney+ has released a brand-new trailer for Disney Twisted-Wonderland the Animation, giving fans a fresh look at the upcoming anime series.
The show is set to premiere on October 29, as part of Disney+’s Fall anime lineup, which promises a range of new series and exclusives for viewers this season.
The first season will run for eight episodes and cover the “Episode of Heartslabyul” story arc from the original mobile game. Disney+ plans to continue the series with Season 2 adapting “Episode of Savanaclaw” and Season 3 focusing on “Episode of Octavinelle.” According to information from Disney+, Shin Katagai is directing the series for Yumeta Company and Graphinica, with Takahiro Natori serving as chief director and overseeing the scripts.
Yoichi Kato is credited as the series writer, while Hanaka Nakano and Akane Sato handle the character designs.

Fans can expect a strong voice cast bringing the characters to life. Yohei Azakami voices Yuken Enma, Natsuki Hanae plays Riddle Rosehearts, Seiichiro Yamashita voices Ace Trappola, Chiaki Kobayashi is Deuce Space, Ryota Suzuki plays Trey Clover, Tatsuyuki Kobyashi voices Cater Diamond, Mitsuru Miyamoto is Dire Crowley, and Noriaki Sugiyama portrays Grim.
The trailer highlights how Disney’s iconic villains play a central role in the story, with the main magical school itself tied to their influence. “Disney’s villains play a core part in the form of the main magical school themselves and will likely tie further into the magical powers we’re going to see in action in the coming episodes,” the announcement said.
Disney Twisted-Wonderland the Animation marks a unique blend of the classic Disney universe with a darker, magical school setting inspired by its villains. This approach gives longtime Disney fans a new way to experience familiar characters while exploring an entirely new story world.
