Jonah Hill Stuns Fans With Dramatic New Transformation for Upcoming Movie
Jonah Hill looks almost unrecognizable on the set of his new film, Cut Off. The actor, who is also directing and co-writing the comedy, was spotted in Los Angeles on Monday, October 6, appearing slimmer than usual, with blond hair and a beard.
He was joined by Kristen Wiig, who stars alongside him as his co-lead in the movie. The pair wore colorful, quirky costumes for the day of filming, drawing attention from onlookers and photographers.

Cut Off tells the story of two wealthy adult siblings who suddenly lose financial support from their parents and are forced to fend for themselves.
Hill plays one of the siblings, with Wiig as the other. Bette Midler and Nathan Lane portray their parents, adding star power to the ensemble cast.
The project was first announced in March, with Hill set to direct, co-write, produce, and star. Kristen Wiig joined the cast in August, while Bette Midler and Nathan Lane came on board as filming began in late September in California. Warner Bros. Pictures has scheduled Cut Off for a U.S. release on July 17, 2026.
Hill has previously spoken about the pressures of being in the public eye and experiencing body-shaming. In 2021, he posted on Instagram, which was later deleted, asking fans to avoid commenting on his weight or appearance.
“I know you mean well but I kindly ask that you not comment on my body,” he wrote at the time. “Good or bad I want to politely let you know it’s not helpful and doesn’t feel good. Much respect.”
This latest transformation marks another dramatic shift in Hill’s career, showing his commitment to fully embodying the characters he plays. Fans and media alike are curious to see how his new look will fit into the comedic world of Cut Off.
Jonah Hill’s willingness to change his appearance for a role shows his dedication as an actor. It’s always interesting to see artists push themselves physically and creatively. What do you think about his new look and upcoming movie? Share your thoughts in the comments .
