New ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Clip Reveals Eleven Preparing for a Face-Off With Vecna

A new clip from Netflix gives fans a glimpse of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) training alongside Jim Hopper (David Harbour) and Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) as they prepare for a final confrontation with Vecna. The footage is from the upcoming fifth season of Stranger Things, which will mark the end of the series.

Stranger Things 5 is set to be released on Netflix in three parts. The first two volumes, each containing several episodes, will premiere on November 26 and December 25. The season finale is scheduled for December 31. This eighth and final season is produced by series creators the Duffer Brothers, along with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen.

Most of the original cast will return, including Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Cara Buono, and Jamie Campbell Bower.

Amybeth McNulty, who appeared as a guest in the previous season, has been promoted to the main cast. New additions include Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, Alex Breaux, and Linda Hamilton.

The story picks up a year after the events of season four, in 1987. The group is focused on finding and defeating Vecna after the Rifts caused havoc in Hawkins. Their mission becomes more complicated when the military shows up in the town and starts targeting Eleven. With the anniversary of Will Byers’ disappearance approaching, the group faces what could be their final battle against a dangerous threat.
