Kevin Costner Set To Portray Bill Clinton In a Series About the United Nations
Kevin Costner is in talks to play former President Bill Clinton in a new series called United. The show is still in the early stages, and sources say it will be produced in partnership with the United Nations. Costner is not just acting in the series, he will also be an executive producer along with Leonardo DiCaprio.
The series will tell true stories of people working to make the world a better place. “It will show heroism and perseverance by humanitarians,” according to sources. David Raymond, who directed Night Hunter, will write and direct the show.
Producers on United include Appian Way, Onwards Studios, and Prime Focus DNEG. Fifth Season will handle distribution.
Costner has been busy with his own projects recently. He directed, co-wrote, produced, and starred in Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1, which premiered at Cannes in 2024. The second chapter premiered at Venice last year, and a release date for it hasn’t been set yet.
The actor is also known for starring in Taylor Sheridan’s hit series Yellowstone, where he played John Dutton for five seasons until 2024. He won a Golden Globe for the role but left the show partway through the fifth season.
His upcoming projects include Honeymoon with Harry, Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 3, and Headhunters.
