British singer Olivia Dean has criticized Live Nation, Ticketmaster, and AEG over inflated ticket prices for her upcoming tour.

Dean, whose hit single “Man I Need” recently reached the top five on the Billboard Hot 100, took to Instagram to voice her frustration with the ticketing system and the lack of control over resale prices.

“I’m sorry that there seems to be an issue with ticket re-selling and pricing. My team are currently looking into it. It is extremely frustrating as the last thing I want is for anyone to be scammed or overcharged for our show 🙁 Please be wary of buying tickets in the comment sections as it is most likely a scam,” Dean wrote.

She also called out the companies directly, adding, “@ticketmaster @livenation @aegpresents you are providing a disgusting service. The prices at which you’re allowing tickets to be re-sold is vile and completely against our wishes. Live music should be affordable and accessible and we need to find a new way of making that possible. BE BETTER.”

Dean’s comments came shortly after she announced her “Art of Loving Live” 2026 tour. When tickets went on sale, fans reported long waits in digital queues and noted that some verified tickets were already being resold at hundreds of dollars above their original prices.

In response, Ticketmaster shared Dean’s post on its own Instagram account and said, “We support artists’ ability to set the terms of how their tickets are sold and resold. @oliviadeano, we will cap resale prices on our site at face value and hope other resale sites will follow.”

A Ticketmaster representative told Variety that all resale tickets for Dean’s tour appear to have been removed across other platforms.

This situation highlights ongoing concerns about the secondary ticket market and the challenges artists face in keeping their shows affordable for fans. Olivia Dean made her stance very clear, demanding better practices from the major ticketing companies.
