Season 3 will introduce new characters to the story. Cole Escola has been cast as Bon Clay, a member of Baroque Works, while Xolo Maridueña will play Portgas D. Ace, a young pirate and Luffy’s brother. In addition, Hoover, Manganiello, Abova, and Ramamurthy have all been promoted to series regulars for the new season, ensuring more continuity with the returning cast.
Netflix had renewed the series for a third season back in August, even before the second season premiered, showing strong confidence in the live-action adaptation. With production underway, fans can expect more adventures, action, and the familiar camaraderie of the Straw Hat crew when the next season eventually arrives.
