Jennifer Aniston is facing criticism after being seen not holding the door for her boyfriend, Jim Curtis, who uses a cane.

The incident happened at Cafe Cluny in New York City, according to the Daily Mail on Monday, December 1.

The 56-year-old Friends star left the restaurant first while holding her phone and appeared focused on her driver. Curtis, 50, was left to manage the door on his own. As the National Enquirer previously reported, Curtis was diagnosed with lesions on his spinal cord at the age of 22, which has made walking difficult.

The transformational coach has struggled for years with muscle spasms, nerve damage, and chronic fatigue. He has often told those around him that his health problems were the result of a motorcycle accident. A said, “Jim is incredibly self-conscious about the way he walks. It’s the first thing he worries people notice.”

Aniston and Curtis began dating earlier this year. They have been spotted together publicly multiple times, and Aniston confirmed their relationship in November by calling him “my love” in an Instagram post.

The moment at Cafe Cluny has sparked conversation online, with many questioning the way Aniston treated her partner.
