The upcoming film Avatar: Fire and Ash will reportedly give audiences an early look at trailers for some of next year’s biggest movies.

According to reports, screenings of the film will feature previews for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, the Russo Brothers’ Avengers: Doomsday, and Steven Spielberg’s latest sci-fi project.

Nolan’s The Odyssey is an action-packed adaptation of Homer’s classic epic. Matt Damon stars as Odysseus, the king of Ithaca, navigating his long journey home after the Trojan War while trying to reunite with his wife, Penelope, played by Anne Hathaway.

The cast also includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, and Jon Bernthal. Nolan co-produces the film with his wife, Emma Thomas, through their Syncopy company.

The film was written in early 2024, secured by Universal Pictures later that year, and began casting in late 2024. Filming took place from February to August 2025 across locations including Morocco, Greece, Italy, Scotland, Iceland, and Western Sahara. With a budget of $250 million, it’s Nolan’s most expensive film to date and the first shot entirely on IMAX 70 mm cameras. The film is set to hit theaters in the U.S. on July 17, 2026.

Avengers: Doomsday is the next big installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.

This movie brings together the Avengers, Wakandans, Fantastic Four, New Avengers, and X-Men to face Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr. The film also stars Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, and a host of other returning MCU and X-Men characters.

Marvel Studios plans to release the film on December 18, 2026, with its sequel, Secret Wars, scheduled for December 17, 2027.

Steven Spielberg is also preparing a major science fiction film, written by David Koepp and based on a story by Spielberg himself. The movie features Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo, and Wyatt Russell in key roles. The film will hit U.S. theaters on June 12, 2026, and promises a mix of sci-fi spectacle and strong performances from its ensemble cast.

With Avatar: Fire and Ash premiering soon, fans will get their first glimpses of these highly anticipated films, offering a sneak peek at some of 2026’s biggest cinematic events.
