Catherine Zeta-Jones, 56, and Michael Douglas, 81, Share Sweet Kiss After Busy Thanksgiving: ‘Need a Year to Recover’
Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas looked as in love as ever in a new set of Instagram photos shared by the actress on Monday, December 1. The couple, married for more than 25 years, were all smiles as Zeta-Jones wrapped her arm around Douglas. In one sweet moment, the pair puckered up for a kiss, showing off their enduring affection.
The 56-year-old actress looked stylish in flared black pants, a leather jacket, and a green blouse, while Douglas, 81, kept it classic in all black. Captioning the post, Zeta-Jones joked about her post-Thanksgiving exhaustion, writing, “I am exhausted, wiped out, pooped from being in the kitchen all Thanksgiving😂 I need a year to recover.”
This isn’t the first time Zeta-Jones has shared romantic moments with Douglas recently. Last month, she posted throwback photos to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary, reflecting on their wedding day in 2000 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. “25 years ago today, I walked down the aisle,” she wrote. “The intoxicating aroma of flowers, the glow of the candles, the resounding harmonious Welsh choir and you at the end of the long walk waiting for me, looking at me the way only you can. I love you today as I did then. Thank you sweetheart♥️.”
Zeta-Jones and Douglas first met in 1998 at the Deauville Film Festival. The couple shares two children, Dylan and Carys. Douglas is also father to Cameron, from his previous marriage to Diandra Luker.
