‘The Boys’ Season Finale Posters Reveal Butcher and Homelander Ready for Total Destruction

The final season of The Boys is almost here, and the hype is real. Showrunner Eric Kripke and series stars Erin Moriarty, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, and Colby Minifie are set to attend CCXP Brazil 2025 in just a few days to kick off the press tour for the streaming series’ fifth and final season.

The fourth season left fans on edge. Homelander (Antony Starr) is now in control, commanding the nation’s supes as a federal police force. That makes taking him down harder than ever. Meanwhile, Butcher (Karl Urban) has fully embraced his revenge mission, fueled by Compound V, with Homelander squarely in his sights.

New promotional posters give fans a glimpse of just how intense the upcoming confrontation will be. The images show both Butcher and Homelander in a “scorched earth” mode, hinting that the fifth season will dive straight into action.

The fifth season continues the story of the superhero series based on the comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, developed for television by Kripke. Production involves Sony Pictures Television along with Point Grey Pictures, Original Film, Kripke Enterprises, Kickstart Entertainment, and KFL Nightsky Productions.

Fans can expect to see familiar faces returning, including Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Cameron Crovetti, Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Jensen Ackles. Newcomer Daveed Diggs is also joining the cast.

The fifth season was first announced on May 14, 2024, and it was confirmed as the final season on June 11, 2024. With all signs pointing to high-stakes drama, fans are bracing for a finale that will leave no one safe.
