Milla Jovovich Returns to Action in New Film ‘Protector’ – New Trailer Released
Highland Film Group has unveiled the first trailer for Protector, a new action thriller starring Milla Jovovich. She plays Nikki, a former war hero who thought she had left her violent past behind to live a quiet life with her daughter, Chloe.
The story takes a dramatic turn when Nikki wakes up in an abandoned factory to find that Chloe has been kidnapped. Determined to save her, she plunges into the city’s criminal underworld. Her search quickly puts her in the sights of both the police and the military, making her one of the most wanted people in the city.

Along the way, Nikki uncovers a shocking secret that threatens everything she’s fighting for. In this race against time, she must find the inner strength she thought she had left behind to become the hero her daughter desperately needs.
Joining Jovovich in the film are Matthew Modine and Isabel Myers, known for her work on Mixed-ish. Production for Protector recently wrapped in New Mexico.
The film is directed by Adrian Grünberg, who previously worked on Rambo: Last Blood and Get the Gringo, with a script written by Bong-Seob Mun. The movie was produced by Kenneth Kim, Ho-Sung Pak, and Bong-Seob Mun for Aanaxion Studio, alongside Ceasar Richbow, Arianne Fraser, and Delphine Perrier for Highland Film Group.
