‘My Hero Academia: Vigilantes’ Season 2 Trailer Released
The new trailer for the upcoming second season of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes has just been released, giving fans their first look at what’s coming in 2026.
The series is a prequel and spin-off of Kōhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia and focuses on a group of unlicensed heroes trying to make a difference.
Vigilantes follows Koichi Haimawari, a young man who uses his Quirk to help others without being an official hero.
After a dangerous encounter with a gang, Koichi and street performer Kazuho Haneyama are saved by the experienced vigilante Knuckleduster, who recruits them to become heroes themselves. The series takes place five years before the events of the main My Hero Academia story.

The anime adaptation is produced by Bones Film, directed by Kenichi Suzuki, and written by Yōsuke Kuroda. Character designs are by Takahiko Yoshida, and the music is composed by Yuki Hayashi, Shogo Yamashiro, and Yuki Furuhashi.
The first season aired from April to June on Tokyo MX and other Japanese networks, with Crunchyroll streaming it internationally. Medialink handled streaming for South and Southeast Asia, along with Oceania, on Ani-One Asia’s YouTube channel.
Season two is set to premiere on January 5, 2026. The new trailer highlights the return of Koichi and his team as they face bigger threats and develop their abilities further. The season will feature the opening theme “Catch” by Surii and the ending theme “Miss You” by shytaupe. Crunchyroll will continue streaming the new episodes worldwide.
The release of this trailer has already created buzz online, showing fans a glimpse of intense battles, character development, and the return of fan-favorite vigilantes. With season two arriving in January, anticipation is high for more action-packed adventures in the My Hero Academia universe.
