Man Who Grabbed Ariana Grande at Wicked Premiere Now Said to Be Blocked from Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Tour
An Australian man who made headlines for grabbing Ariana Grande during the Wicked: For Good premiere in Singapore is now being linked to another controversy.
Social media posts claim he has been blocked from entering venues on Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball tour in Australia.
The man, Johnson Wen, was taken into custody after the incident involving Grande on the yellow carpet. Cynthia Erivo, who was with Grande at the event, stepped in and was praised for her quick reaction.
Wen later admitted to causing a public disturbance. When his case went before the court, district judge Christopher Goh said Wen had behaved this way before and told him, “You should be mindful that there are always consequences for one’s actions. You seem to be attention-seeking, thinking only of yourself, and not the safety of others, when committing these acts.”

Wen is known online as Pyjama Man and has a history of interrupting major events. He has posted videos of himself disrupting concerts, including shows by Katy Perry and The Weeknd. Because Lady Gaga is currently touring Australia, some fans say her team has circulated warnings about him.
One fan account wrote that Gaga’s security had instructed staff to keep Wen out of the arenas, mentioning his actions toward Grande and past stage incidents. A video shared by the same account shows a guard holding what seems to be a page with Wen’s photo. They also claim he was removed from Gaga’s Brisbane show after trying to blend in with other attendees. These details come from online fan sources and social media posts.
Lady Gaga began the Australian section of her tour in Melbourne with two shows. She is scheduled to perform in Brisbane next, followed by two nights in Sydney later in the week.
