Zendaya and Robert Pattinson Star in Wild New A24 Comedy ‘The Drama’ – Wedding Chaos Ensues
Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are back on screen together in the first trailer for The Drama, a new dark comedy from A24 directed by Kristoffer Borgli.
In the film, they play a couple on the brink of losing their minds as they prepare for their wedding. The trailer was shared through A24’s official channels, giving fans a first look at the chaotic story.

The Drama is Borgli’s fourth feature film and his second English-language project after the 2023 Nicolas Cage film Dream Scenario, also released by A24. Alongside Zendaya and Pattinson, the cast includes Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, and Hailey Gates. The movie is set to hit theaters on April 3, 2026.
Fans of Zendaya and Pattinson will have more chances to see them together next year. They are both starring in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, scheduled for release on July 17. In that film, Zendaya will play the Greek goddess Athena, while Pattinson takes on the role of Ithacan suitor Antinous.
The duo will also appear in Dune: Part Three later in the year, which will conclude Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s epic series. Zendaya will reprise her role as Chani, and Pattinson is rumored to play the antagonist Scytale, though his character has not been officially confirmed. Warner Bros. will release Dune: Part Three on December 18, 2026.
