The Tesla and SpaceX CEO’s first post included a short comment and a meme. The meme compared a woman’s appearance to someone suffering from back pain, suggesting Sweeney’s figure might cause discomfort. Musk wrote, “Can’t be easy.” The post drew immediate criticism online.

Despite the backlash, Musk did not stop. About an hour later, he shared another meme in a different thread about the video game Diablo. The image was a photoshopped picture of Sweeney with the words “the eclipse” across her chest. Musk added the caption, “Seems like this will be a contest for most double-stacked equipment.”
