Taylor Swift has shared new release dates for the final episodes of her documentary series The End of an Era. The singer revealed the update during an appearance on Good Morning America on Thursday morning.

She confirmed that the schedule has changed and fans will get the last episodes sooner than expected.

Episodes three and four will arrive on Disney+ on Friday, December 19. The final two episodes, episodes five and six, will now be released on December 23 instead of the previously planned December 26 date. Disney+ also confirmed the update on social media, calling it a surprise for fans. “As an early gift to fans around the world, the final two episodes will premiere early on December 23 at 12am PT,” the streaming platform shared.

The documentary series follows Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour and gives fans a close look at the final stretch of the tour. The first two episodes premiered on December 12, just one day before Swift’s birthday. The show captures life on the road, behind-the-scenes moments, and the strong fan community that grew around the tour.

The opening episodes focused heavily on the people who helped bring the tour to life. Viewers saw long-time band members and dancers, including bassist Amos Heller, who has worked with Swift for many years. Swift also opened up about the canceled Vienna shows after a planned attack was stopped, becoming emotional as she explained how her team “dodged a massacre.”

Other moments in the documentary included a relaxed jam session with Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch preparing for a surprise performance of “Florida!!!,” and lead dancer Kameron Saunders sharing his experience as a Black dancer with a larger body. He spoke honestly about discrimination and what the tour meant to him on a personal level.

Swift praised the creative team behind the project during a recent screening. “The directors [Don Argott and Sheena M. Joyce] expanded upon the stories of not just me, but everyone who was part of this,” she said. “There was a lot of magic and mystery that happens when something goes as well as this did.”
