‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Season 3 to Kick Off with Double Episode Premiere – Watch the Trailer
Jujutsu Kaisen is set to return to screens with its third season, and fans have a lot to look forward to. At Jump Festa 2026, a new trailer was released along with an updated visual featuring more characters. The trailer also revealed that the first two episodes of Season 3 will premiere together on January 8, 2026.

The upcoming season adapts the first part of the Culling Game arc from Gege Akutami’s manga. The opening theme song, titled “AIZO”, will be performed by King Gnu. The band has previously contributed music to the franchise, including “SPECIALZ” for the Shibuya Incident Arc and “One Way” for the JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 film.

Six new voice actors have joined the cast for Season 3. Kazuya Nakai will voice Kinji Hakari, Yuki Sakakihara plays Kirara Hoshi, Tomokazu Sugita voices Hiromi Higuruma, Satoshi Tsuruoka is Fumihiko Takaba, Yutaka Aoyama will voice Reggie Star, and Neeko plays Kogane. These additions expand the story and bring more depth to the Culling Game arc.
The series is directed by Shota Goshozono at MAPPA, with Hiroshi Seko handling series composition. Yosuke Yajima and Hiromi Niwa are on character design, and Yoshimasa Teuri returns as the composer.
All of them are returning from the second season. Crunchyroll will continue to stream the series, including both previous seasons and the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film.
For newcomers, Jujutsu Kaisen follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student with incredible physical strength. When he swallows a cursed object to save a classmate, he becomes host to the powerful curse Ryomen Sukuna. Under the guidance of the top sorcerer Satoru Gojo, Yuji enrolls in Tokyo Jujutsu High School, where he learns to fight curses while navigating a dangerous new life.
A double episode premiere is a smart way to start Season 3, giving fans a strong opening to the Culling Game arc.
