North West, 12, Shows Off Diamond Shark Grills on Instagram — Fans React With Concern and Call for CPS
North West is turning heads again on social media with her latest Instagram post. The 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West shared her third official Instagram photo on Christmas Day, and it quickly sparked reactions online.
The post showed North with long blue hair and a brand-new set of diamond “shark” grillz. The grillz were designed by Johnny Dang & Co. and feature pointed diamond teeth, giving them a striking look. A video on Instagram Stories also highlighted the flashy new jewelry.
In the carousel of photos, North wore a Balenciaga Tat hoodie priced at $1,700 and matching sweatpants for $1,400. She completed the outfit with rare Chrome Hearts x Rick Owens sneakers, which are sold out but listed on eBay for about $22,000.
She also wore a Chrome Hearts Silichrome Infinity Cross Ring in bright blue, matching her signature hair color. While the ring is no longer sold in stores, it can still be purchased online for under $500.
Some of the images appeared to be taken on the family’s all-white private jet, with high-flash photography giving them a dramatic look. Another photo shows North with Johnny Dang in a winter scene created in the Kardashian family’s Hidden Hills backyard for the holidays. According to reports, Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner’s ex and father of her two children, also recently got a set of grillz from Dang.
Although this is the first time North’s new grillz have been shared publicly, it has been reported that Kanye West had been planning them for some time. Kardashian also posted a selfie with Johnny Dang in her backyard a few weeks ago.
North’s fashion and beauty choices have sparked some backlash, with critics raising concerns about her style as a pre-teen. On a recent episode of “Call Her Daddy,” Kim Kardashian addressed the controversy and defended her daughter’s choices. “It’s really hard and it’s really interesting because all the kids are wearing the same things,” Kardashian said. “Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world.”
