Hollywood actor and former boxer Mickey Rourke is facing eviction from his Los Angeles home, court records show. The 73-year-old reportedly owes nearly $60,000 in unpaid rent.

According to the filings, Rourke was served with a three-day notice to pay rent or leave by December 18. The rental property, located in Beverly Grove, had monthly rent of $7,000. At the time the notice was issued, Rourke allegedly owed $59,100. His current financial situation has not been confirmed.

Court documents explain that the notice was both posted on the property and mailed because “no person of suitable age or discretion” could be found at the home. The residence is a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath Spanish bungalow built in 1926, described on Zillow as “nicely upgraded.”

This legal trouble adds to a long history of ups and downs for Rourke, whose career has been marked by both major successes and high-profile setbacks.

Rourke’s story shows how even well-known actors can face serious financial challenges. What do you think about this situation? Do you feel sympathy, or do you think he should have managed his finances differently? Share your thoughts in the comments.
