Teyana Taylor and Aaron Pierre Reportedly Split After Less Than a Year Together
Teyana Taylor and Aaron Pierre have ended their relationship after dating for less than a year, sources told Page Six.
Rumors of the split had been circulating online before being confirmed. The reason for the breakup has not been revealed, but insiders say the pair have gone their separate ways.
Taylor, 35, is currently nominated for a Golden Globe for best supporting actress in her film “One Battle After Another.”
Pierre, meanwhile, has several upcoming projects, including the next “Star Wars” installment, “Star Wars: Starfighter,” and the DC Studios and HBO series “Lanterns.”
The couple first sparked romance rumors earlier this year when they attended the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles. They were later seen together at the Vanity Fair Oscar party, and Pierre appeared in a trailer for Taylor’s 2025 album “Escape Room,” sharing a brief on-screen kiss. By June, they had gone public on Instagram, with Taylor posting a tribute to Pierre for his 31st birthday along with photos from his celebration.
The two were also spotted together at the BET Awards, with Taylor telling Complex, “He’s very gentle … It allows me to feel warm and to feel safe and not be in survival mode.”
Pierre joined a panel for Taylor’s album launch, saying, “I’m sure everybody knows this, but I’ve got to say it, Teyana is really one of one.” The pair even wore matching outfits at promotional events. Taylor’s album received a Grammy nomination.
Despite their public appearances and shared projects, the romance appears to have ended while Pierre was accompanying Taylor on the red carpet at the London premiere of “One Battle After Another.”
Taylor previously dated basketball player Iman Shumpert. They share two children together, and their divorce was finalized in 2024. Taylor began dating English actor Aaron Pierre.
This breakup is another chapter in Taylor’s personal life, which has seen high-profile relationships and public milestones.
