Jennifer Lopez opened her Up All Night Live residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace last night, giving fans a night full of music and surprises. The pop star performed a mix of her own hits and classic covers, including Lana Del Rey’s Young and Beautiful, Barbra Streisand’s Don’t Rain on My Parade, and Elvis’ Heartbreak Hotel.

Lopez also treated the audience to her signature hits like Jenny From the Block and Let’s Get Loud, and brought Ja Rule on stage for Ain’t It Funny and I’m Real.

During the performance, Lopez addressed the ongoing criticism she faces about her wardrobe. She joked about the questions she hears from the public, saying, “‘Why’s she always dress that way?’ ‘Why don’t she dress her age?’ I was like, ‘Huh? What?’”

She added, “Why is she always naked?” and then delivered her response to cheers, “I said, ‘If you had this body, you’d be naked too!’”

The singer will continue her residency tonight, with additional shows on January 2 and 3. After a short break, Lopez will return to the Colosseum on March 6, performing through March 28. This marks her first Las Vegas residency since the All I Have shows, which ran from January 2016 to September 2018 at the Zappos Theater.

These shows are also Lopez’s first live performances since canceling her This Is Me… Live tour in 2024. At the time, she expressed her disappointment to fans, saying, “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”

It’s clear Lopez is back in full form, showing her fans why she remains one of the most dynamic performers in music today.
