Mark Wahlberg Wears Ultra-Rare Watch You Can Only Buy When It’s Snowing in Switzerland
Mark Wahlberg recently showed off a new addition to his impressive watch collection, and it’s one that fans can’t just buy anywhere.
The actor, known for wearing rare Patek Philippes and Rolexes, shared a video of himself picking up the limited-edition Omega x Swatch “Cold Moon” MoonSwatch, part of the Mission to Earthphase series.
In the clip, Wahlberg held up the white-and-blue timepiece and said, “I got that Sky Moon, now I got that Cold Moon.” The watch features a unique Earthphase display, showing the Earth as seen from the Moon, along with a moonphase complication that includes double Moons decorated with custom laser-etched snowflakes.
Unlike other Mission to Moonshine watches that are typically navy, the “Cold Moon” stands out with a bright white Bioceramic case and strap. The 42mm watch includes playful details, such as a Snoopy cartoon looking up at the Earthphase display, secret UV-visible phrases, and hands designed with an aventurine-style sparkle to mimic the night sky. Despite all these features, it retails for $450.
One of the most unusual aspects of the watch is how it’s sold. Buyers can only purchase the “Cold Moon” in Swatch boutiques when it is snowing in Switzerland. The watch will be available until the end of winter, on March 20, 2026. Wahlberg’s choice highlights his mix of high-end collector pieces and more accessible, fun watches.
For fans of unique watches, the “Cold Moon” seems like a must-see addition. Wahlberg’s post offers a glimpse of just how detailed and playful these limited MoonSwatches can be, blending collector-level design with whimsical elements that make it stand out.
