Zendaya has received a brand-new wax figure at Madame Tussauds in New York City, unveiled on Wednesday, January 7.

The figure is described by the museum as “stunningly realistic” and shows the actress wearing a black two-piece gown inspired by her outfit at a Dune: Part Two fan event in Mexico City in February 2024. Even though she wasn’t engaged to Tom Holland at the time, the wax statue features a replica of her horizontal oval diamond engagement ring.

“Zendaya has earned her place among today’s most recognizable and respected stars,” said Tiago Mogadouro, general manager of Madame Tussauds New York. “This figure is a tribute to her lasting impact on both entertainment and fashion.”

This isn’t the first time Zendaya has been immortalized in wax. In 2015, she unveiled two wax figures at Madame Tussauds, one in San Francisco and another in Orlando. Back then, she personally sat for hundreds of measurements to ensure accuracy. “This is a major, major honor and it’s so cool to have it in the Bay, where I’m from,” she said at the time. “This is the best trip ever. I get to be home and be with my people … and also my twins!”

Fans can now visit the new figure in New York. The tribute comes as Zendaya continues to have a busy year. She is set to return for the long-awaited third season of Euphoria, a show she not only stars in but has also contributed original music to, collaborating with Labrinth in the previous season.

She also stars in Kristoffer Borgli’s film The Drama, alongside Robert Pattinson, set for release in April, and will appear as Athena in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, arriving in July.
