Jennifer Aniston’s Trainer Shares How She Stays in Amazing Shape at 56
Jennifer Aniston stays in great shape at 56 by making sure she fits in a workout no matter how busy her schedule is. Her personal trainer, Dani Coleman, told the Daily Mail that this consistency is the key to the actress’ famously fit body.
“No matter how much time or where Jen’s schedule takes her, she always values moving her body,” Coleman said. “She understands that doing something each day, even if it’s small, is better than nothing, which is why she loves Pvolve because we have workouts of all lengths and formats.”
Coleman, who is the founder and VP of training at Pvolve, explained that she and Aniston focus on full-body workouts whenever they can. “Jen and I train utilizing our Signature formats: Strength & Sculpt, Sculpt & Burn, and Progressive Weight Training,” Coleman said.
“We do full-body workouts and love to frequent our p.band, p.3 trainer, p.ball, and gliders, and we mix in heavy dumbbells with a focus on building lean muscle mass. Our sessions are filled with hard work, a good playlist, and a few intermissions to play with the pups!” She was referring to Aniston’s dogs, Clyde and Lord Chesterfield.
Coleman also described Aniston as a “super woman” and said she enjoys workouts that challenge her. The actress has been using Pvolve’s low-impact functional fitness system since 2023, showing that she prefers exercises that build strength and flexibility without being too harsh on her body.
Aniston also follows what she calls the “80/20” approach to health. In a 2025 interview with Allure, she explained that she focuses on healthy living most of the time but allows herself to enjoy life as well. “You’ve got to live your life. No restrictions — except hard drugs,” she said.
“It’s the 80/20 approach. Eighty percent healthy living and then 20 percent is: Go have a martini, go have your pizza and burgers and stay up late with your friends. There’s a balance.”
