Kendall Jenner Teases Baby Name List and Shares If She’ll Follow Family Tradition

Kendall Jenner isn’t a mom yet, but she’s clearly thinking about the future. On the Jan. 9 episode of the In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele podcast, the 30-year-old model revealed that she already has a “list” of potential baby names.

When host Owen Thiele asked if the names were “insane” or “nepo baby names,” Jenner laughed it off. “I’m so over that,” she said. “I think that it’s kind of ridiculous. The whole name situation.”

Even though she hasn’t picked a final name, Jenner said she loves her baby name list. “I definitely have my list. It’s not crazy. I actually love my baby list. My baby name list,” she told the podcast. She didn’t share any names but explained she prefers simple, beautiful names. “I love like a good normal name. Like a beautiful normal name.”

Jenner also confirmed she won’t be following her parents’ quirky tradition of giving daughters names starting with K. “No, babe. Absolutely not,” she said. However, she didn’t rule out choosing a unique name. “Joaquin Phoenix is an incredible name. It’s a unique name, but it’s not, like, ‘Doorbell.’ There’s so many good names. Brad Pitt is an incredible name,” she added.

Even though she has thought about names, Jenner is in no rush to become a mother. In a May 2024 interview with Vogue, she explained that she’s enjoying her freedom and isn’t stressing about having kids yet. “When I was young I used to say that by 27 I’d love to have kids. Now I’m past that and I feel like I’m still so young. I’m enjoying my kidless freedom,” she said.

Jenner has been in a number of high-profile relationships, including with Harry Styles in 2013, NBA stars Ben Simmons and Devin Booker, and Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, whom she dated most recently from February 2023 to September 2024.

For now, Jenner is focusing on her life, but her baby name list shows she’s already thinking ahead. As she told Thiele, “I actually love my baby name list,” proving she’s prepared for motherhood when the time comes.
