Marvel fans just got another exciting tease for Avengers: Doomsday, and this one has people talking fast. A new short teaser dropped this week and it surprised viewers by bringing the story back to Wakanda, with an unexpected guest from the Fantastic Four.

The clip is part of Marvel Studios’ ongoing rollout of short character-focused previews ahead of the film’s 2026 release. The new teaser shows Shuri, M’Baku, and Namor together in Wakanda. But the real shock comes when Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s Ben Grimm, also known as The Thing, appears standing right there with them.

The footage opens with Shuri reflecting on how Wakanda has changed since the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She references the losses the nation has suffered and confirms that M’Baku is now king. Moments later, M’Baku comes face to face with The Thing, making this the first official on-screen crossover between the Black Panther characters and the Fantastic Four.

Fans quickly noticed how big this moment is. Until now, Marvel had only hinted at crossovers through earlier teasers featuring characters like Captain America and Thor. This is the first time the studio has clearly shown heroes from different teams sharing the same space. The idea of The Thing standing in Wakanda instantly sparked excitement online.

The teaser also confirms the return of Namor, played by Tenoch Huerta. While he was the main villain in Wakanda Forever, the clip suggests he is still loosely aligned with Wakanda. That uneasy partnership could become important as the MCU moves toward its next major threat.

Marvel Studios has shared very little about the full plot of Avengers: Doomsday, which is why these short clips are getting so much attention. The film is set to bring together the Avengers, Wakandans, Fantastic Four, New Avengers, and even the X-Men to face Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr.

Avengers: Doomsday is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18, with Secret Wars following in 2027. The teaser is currently streaming through Marvel’s official channels and on Disney+, which is home to the MCU.

With Wakanda and the Fantastic Four now officially crossing paths, fans are already bracing for even bigger surprises as Marvel slowly reveals what’s coming next.
