Fans Can’t Stop Talking About Dove Cameron’s Jaw-Dropping Backless Look
Dove Cameron made a stunning entrance at the Vanity Fair x Amazon MGM Studios Awards Season Party, turning heads in a daring backless dress. The party took place at Bar Marmont, and Cameron shared a glimpse of her look on Instagram the following day. Her ivory floor-length gown featured a plunging back, a sleek front cutout, and a dramatic slit down the back of the skirt, showing off her bold style.
The singer, who announced her engagement to Damiano David earlier this month, kept her accessories simple. She wore minimal jewelry, including earrings and her engagement ring, paired with gold leather Jimmy Choo pumps and carried a pewter Ahikoza Amina clutch. Fans quickly flooded the comments with praise, with one writing, A literal angel, and another adding, The most beautiful angel ever.
Cameron has been open about her personal growth in recent years, noting that therapy and reflecting on her struggles with pain and depression helped shape her music. She told sources that this period allowed her to move into a more positive space, shaping the sound of her upcoming debut studio album.
She returned to music in February 2025 with her lead single, Too Much, followed by French Girls in May. In June 2025, she joined Dua Lipa on the UK leg of the Radical Optimism Tour and released Romeo, the third song from her album. In September 2025, she released Whatever You Like, inspired by her relationship with David.
In addition to her music, Cameron is expanding her acting career. She is set to star in the upcoming Prime Video series 56 Days, playing Ciara Wyse. She also has another project, Love Me Dead, where she will portray Cassi Webber.
The actress has been particularly focused on her lead role in 56 Days, a psychological thriller series inspired by Catherine Ryan Howard’s bestselling novel. The show, which was filmed in Montreal under the working title Obsession, follows a young couple, Ciara and Oliver, who meet just as a global lockdown begins. Their intense relationship takes a dark turn when a body is discovered, leading to a complex investigation into their secret-filled past.
The series is scheduled to premiere on February 18, on Prime Video, with all eight episodes dropping at once. Cameron stars alongside Avan Jogia, who plays her love interest Oliver Kennedy. The ensemble cast also includes Karla Souza as Lee Reardon and Dorian Missick as Karl Connolly, with horror veteran James Wan serving as an executive producer.
This project marks a significant step into darker, more mature storytelling for Cameron, who first rose to fame on Disney Channel’s Liv and Maddie and the Descendants franchise. Since then, she has successfully transitioned into a versatile performer, winning a Daytime Emmy and an American Music Award. Her recent work in the musical comedy series Schmigadoon! also earned her critical acclaim for her comedic timing and vocal prowess.
