Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant Cozy Up on Ice at Rockefeller Center Date Night

Keanu Reeves celebrated the end of his Broadway debut with a special night out with girlfriend Alexandra Grant. The couple had a private ice skating session at Rockefeller Center the evening after the limited run of Keanu and Alex Winter’s revival of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot wrapped on January 4.

The show was a hit, drawing packed houses, earning positive reviews, and marking a successful Broadway debut for Reeves. To celebrate, Keanu treated Alexandra to a memorable night on the ice. Alexandra shared photos and videos from the date on Instagram, along with a heartfelt note about trying new experiences and gratitude for the people who made the evening possible.

“Last Monday, after the run of Waiting for Godot, Keanu invited me on a date in New York City… ⛸️⛸️⛸️⛸️⛸️” she wrote. She thanked the staff at Rockefeller Center for making them feel welcome, providing hot cocoa and pompom hats, and helping them get on the ice.

Alexandra also reflected on the challenge of skating after years off the ice. “Getting back on ice after a few decades and moving from hockey skates to figure skates and #$%@ toe picks is no joke! x”

The couple posed for photos in front of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, and Alexandra expressed her admiration for young skaters training for the Winter Olympics. “Connections with people—that’s the most important thing in life. It overrides everything,” she quoted Olympic skater Alysa Liu, adding, “So yes, always yes to connecting! Yes to joy, yes to getting out there even when beyond tired, yes to trying something new, yes to doing it your way, and staying open to surprise! x”

The Rink at Rockefeller Center is open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight, but it seems the couple arranged a private nighttime session to celebrate the successful show. From Alexandra’s post, it’s clear they had a fun, meaningful evening enjoying each other’s company and celebrating the end of a milestone for Keanu.
