Leonardo DiCaprio got a blast from the past during the 2026 Golden Globes, thanks to host Nikki Glaser. The comedian poked fun at the actor’s famously private life and teased him about a very old interview from Teen Beat magazine in 1991. The clip resurfaced online immediately, sending fans down a nostalgic rabbit hole.

Glaser, in her opening monologue at the Beverly Hilton, joked about DiCaprio’s dating history. She quipped that he had achieved all his career milestones before his girlfriend, 27-year-old model Vittoria Ceretti, even turned 30. The crowd laughed, and Glaser quickly added an apology for her “cheap” joke.

But she didn’t stop there. Glaser highlighted how little people actually know about DiCaprio, saying, “We don’t know anything else about you, man. I’m serious. I looked!” She then referenced his Teen Beat interview, joking, “The most in-depth interview you’ve ever given was in Teen Beat Magazine in 1991. Is your favorite food still ‘pasta, pasta, and more pasta?'”

DiCaprio smiled and gave a thumbs up, silently confirming the claim. Glaser even encouraged viewers to check it out, saying, “Look it up, that’s real!” That prompted fans to dig online and find the long-forgotten interview.

The Teen Beat questionnaire showed a teenage DiCaprio listing “pasta, pasta, and more pasta” as his favorite food and amusingly misspelling “reggae” as his favorite music genre. Social media users shared the images widely, delighting fans with this rare glimpse of the young actor’s personality.

DiCaprio’s dating life remains a major talking point in pop culture. For years, he’s been known for dating models and actresses younger than him. His past relationships include Gisele Bündchen, Bar Refaeli, Blake Lively, and Camila Morrone. The joke about his “under 25” dating pattern has become a staple of awards show humor. His current relationship with Ceretti, 27, technically breaks that streak, though the age gap is still noticeable.

Beyond his dating life, DiCaprio has spent the last three decades building a legendary career. He went from teen heartthrob in Titanic and Romeo + Juliet to serious roles with directors like Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino. He finally won an Oscar for Best Actor in 2016 for The Revenant. More recently, he earned praise for his performance in Killers of the Flower Moon.

Outside of Hollywood, DiCaprio is a passionate environmentalist. Through the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, he has raised over $100 million to protect wildlife and fight climate change. He produces documentaries like Before the Flood and runs his production company, Appian Way, which has produced hits including The Wolf of Wall Street and The Aviator.

Rumors continue about his next big project, including a possible Frank Sinatra biopic with Scorsese. Fans are eager to see where he goes next, knowing he balances blockbuster fame with thoughtful, artistic choices.
